Using PermitPath

The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms explain PermitPath’s study service and subscription model. They do not limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.

The App Store release is in preparation. This website provides product, support and policy information and does not sell subscriptions.

Plans and access

Weekly, Monthly and 3 Months subscriptions provide the same study features across all eight supported exam tracks while access is active. Planned Canadian prices are C$9.99 every week, C$24.99 every month or C$59.99 every three months. The three-month plan is billed in one payment. Apple shows the price, billing interval, applicable taxes and available offers before you confirm.

Study features require an active trial or paid subscription. Support, policy links, subscription management and study-backup export remain accessible without an active subscription. Study records remain on your device if access ends; export them before deleting the app or changing devices.

Three-day introductory trial

Eligible subscribers may explicitly start a three-day free trial after onboarding by selecting a plan and completing Apple’s confirmation. Apple determines eligibility. Only one introductory trial is available per eligible Apple Account in the subscription group, not one trial per plan. If you are ineligible, the regular subscription charge applies when you confirm.

After the trial, the selected plan’s full price is charged automatically unless you cancel in time. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Trial access may end when cancelled, according to Apple’s subscription status.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected billing interval until cancelled. Apple may charge for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.

You can manage or cancel in PermitPath’s subscription settings or your device’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting PermitPath does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles payments and refund requests; refund eligibility follows Apple’s process and applicable law. See cancellation help and refund help.

Access follows verified App Store status, including expiry, refunds, revocation and any applicable billing grace period. An internet connection is needed for purchases, restores and updated subscription information. With verified, unexpired access, bundled study features work offline.

Independent exam preparation

PermitPath is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ontario, Humber Polytechnic or the National Research Council of Canada. Its practice questions are original study aids, not official or previous examination questions. Scores do not guarantee a pass or confer registration or professional qualifications.

Confirm the current syllabus, permitted reference edition, amendments and exam rules with your examination provider. The included reference edition is the 2024 Building Code Compendium, January 16, 2025 update. Use original provisions, tables and figures for full context. The app does not replace professional advice or the authoritative legal text.
